Celebrated Tanzanian artiste Diamond Platnumz is not willing to disappoint his fans any time soon.
The singer who enjoys a huge fan base in East Africa is not taking the great love from his fans for granted.
Diamond was on Tuesday captured dishing out money to his fans on his way to a show to mark Eid Mubarak.
In a video he shared on his Instagram page, Diamond was throwing money to his cheering fans.
"Kikubwa sina, ila Kidogo sitoacha kula na wenzangu, (I don't have much but I can share with you what I got)." read his caption in part.
It has been revealed Diamond used over Sh1 million to reward his fans, as a way of thanking them for their support.
"Nimetumia Tsh31,500,000 keshi, toleo tu kuwasalimia watu wangu kisha naondoka. Nimetoa kwa sababu shabiki wameku support tangia miaka kumi sasa, hujaifika getho kwao, halafu unafika tu mjini kisha unaondoka hivyo, hizo ni madharau, (I have used TSh31,500,000 in cash to greet my fans as a way of saying thank you for the support. It would have been lack of respect if I could do nothing for them after 10 years of support," said Diamond.
Tsh31,500,000 when changed to Kenyan currency is about1,385,332.
Diamond said it is good for artistes to reward fans and not just to collect cash from them.
Will he dish out the same money while in Kenya this coming weekend?
