Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i has promised to take action against the suspects who took the law into their hands in Bomachoge Borabu constituency incident where three people lost their lives during a confrontation between Police and the Public about three weeks ago
A police officer and the other three people were killed during running battles in Kenyenya as residents protested the killing of a conductor who was alleged to have been stabbed by a police officer at kenyenya matatu stage
Adressing the public at Kereri in Kisii Matiang'i noted that the investigations have been completed by the relevant authorities and the full report is ready for action any time
“The Investigations over the killings experienced at Kenyenya is complete and the report is ready. The law is very clear , they are going to be arrested and charged in court. ” Said CS.
He also urged leaders to support schools for a better society and support schools
“As leaders we must support our schools in all means possible, children are ours and we must make sure they have a better life,” He added.
Matiang'i warned those who will be found or engaging in National Examination cheating saying the exam will be highly monitored because its part of his docket of security
