Speaking at East African Portland Cement Company in Athi River, Mavoko sub-county, Mutua backed President Uhuru’s war on corruption and asked all Kenyans to come together to end the graft.

“Kamataaa kamata kamata, kamataaa kamata kamata, huyo mfisadi, kamata, pelekaa jela, kamata, bilaa huruma kamata [arrest the corrupt and tke them to jail],” Mutua sang.

Revealing his early life, he gave President Kenyatta a rare example of how he will successfully end corruption in the country.

“Kwa sababu hapo ndio tumefikia. Nlipokua mchanga pia tukiishi uko Ongwaro, karibu na Riruta Satellite tulikua tunakatia apo tunaenda apo Jamhuri park kwa Racecourse, nilikua naona farasi wakikimbia wameekwa blinders pade. Kwa sababu farasi akiwekwa blinder anaangalia mbele mahali anaenda bila kuangalia kando.”

Governor Mutua asked the head of states to be like the horses.

“Weka blinders kabisaa katika vita dhidi ya ufisadi [put a vail in the war against corruption],” he told the president.

This is to help him avoid being seduced by corrupt individuals into falling for their evils deeds against the country.

Mutua said the war against corruption must be won now, otherwise, the young generation will not have a bright future.

He told Kenyatta that he is behind him in the war against the graft together with his friends.
