Troubled lawyer Miguna Miguna could not keep quiet as Raila Odinga's endorsed candidates were thrashed in Embakasi South and Ugenya constituency.
It was definitely a celebration moment for the firebrand lawyer who is currently in Canada.
In a tweet, Miguna thanked the electorates of Ugenya constituency for electing Movement for Democracy and Growth (MDG) party candidate David Ochieng against Orange Democratic Movement’s Christopher Karan.
Miguna also applauded Ugenya residents for embarrassing Raila Odinga who brands him a conman.
“On March 3, 2019 Raila Odinga pleaded with the people of Ugenya not to embarrass him by electing David Ochieng as their MP. HE campaigned for the local thug and forger, Karan. Thank you the patriots of Ugenya for EMBARRASSING the people's conman,” Miguna tweeted.
David Ochieng garnered 18,730 votes while his close rival managed 14,507 votes.
In another tweet, Miguna noted that Kenyans are matching against despotism and also congratulated the winners of Embakasi South and Ugenya constituencies by-elections.
“Let me congratulate David Ochieng' for winning the Ugenya seat against Raila Odinga and Mwathe for his victory in Embakasi South where Raila Odinga had camped for days. Kenyans are alert and marching on against despots and all their collaborators. #SayNoTo Despotism,” Miguna noted.
