Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has joined other leaders in mourning the untimely death of Likoni MP Mishi Mboko's brother, Dr Ali Juma.
Murkomen described the death as a big blow to the family of the lawmaker as well as the entire nation.
He also prayed that the Lord gives the family of the deceased strength during this moment of trial.
Juma died in Cuba where he was pursuing a master’s degree in Medicine.
Juma was among 50 Kenyan doctors who travelled to Cuba to pursue further studies at the University of Medical Sciences in Havana.
“Sincere condolences to my sister Hon.Mishi Mboko and her entire family for the loss of their brother Dr. Hamisi Ali Juma who unfortunately died in Cuba. May the Lord God give you strength and grace at this very difficult time,” tweeted Murkomen
ODM has also sent its message of condolence to the family of the deceased. The party promised to stand with her during this trial moments.
“Condolences to the family of Likoni MP and deputy director of elections Hon @mbokomishi following the death of her brother Dr Ali Hamso in Cuba where he had gone to pursue Masters Degree in Medicine. We pray for God's fortitude in the family during this sad moment," read ODM's tweet.
It remains unclear what killed Juma though unconfirmed reports indicate he committed suicide.
