Nyamira County governor John Nyagarama has been warned against condoning impunity in his administration.
Borabu MP Ben Momanyi argued that Nyagarama should not run the county as his personal kiosk.
"Nyamira residents deserve better services with zero cases of isolation or discrimination. I am therefore, tasking the county boss, John Nyagarama to ensure operations in the county runs smoothly," he said.
The legislator said elected MPs and Senator Eric Okong'o shall press the governor to ensure no money is wasted.
He urged the public to remain alert over cases of embezzlement of funds.
"Corruption is an enemy to the growth of the country's economy. Whoever who shall be caught stealing public funds must be taken to teach other selfish individuals a lesson," he stated.
Momanyi assured that there will be no single cent from the CDF kitty that will be wasted.
"I am committed to ensure the CDF funds are used appropriately to fund projects which will help in boosting the lives of our people and not personal projects," he added.
