The lawmaker said that Kenyans should need not to be discriminated by the President as far as development is concerned because he heads the country as a whole.

Speaking during a meeting with Kisii elders on Friday, he said a section of Jubilee politicians who are not happy with the president's unity with NASA leader Raila Odinga have no option rather than to accept the unity and move on.

"Uhuru is the President for all Kenyans and therefore, he must be patriotic and serve Kenyans diligently. A section of leaders who are annoyed with the President's style of leadership should wait for their time," he said.

Mr Angwenyi argued that politicians who have been close to DP Ruto should stop attacking the Head of State because he has refused to dance to their tune.

"Some leaders are out to bring trouble between Uhuru and his Deputy. I want to reiterate that such leaders should focus on development and leave alone Uhuru and Ruto to work towards the implementation of the Big Four Agenda," he added.

He maintained that the historic handshake is fruitful.

Present during the meeting also was Kisii Woman Representative Janet Ongera,  Bonchari MP John Oroo Oyioka and Kisii Council of Elders Chairman James Matundura
