In an interview on Radio Maisha's Bunge La Maisha Monday morning programme, Wanga said that she has no grudge against the lawmaker.

The two who were formerly close friends were recently deemed not to be in good terms after being involved in a bitter online spat.

She said that their differences emerged from Millie's opposition to her rumoured pending Homa Bay gubernatorial bid in 2022, saying that the stand is justifiable.

"I have nothing against her. She only declared on the internet that she would not support me if I vied for the Homa Bay gubernatorial seat and that is completely within her rights," she said.

She added that there is no commission between them, considering that they are in office on different mandates.

"Each of us is in the office with a different job prescription. We have no reason to fight," she added.

Wanga said that she will reach out to the leader soon in line with the reconciliation mood set by President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga in March last year.

Both leaders allied to Raila and are in office on his Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party ticket.
