Former 1500 metres World Champion Asbel Kiprop is a man under siege after a video showing his escapades with Nancy Rotich leaked.
Presenter Jeff Koinange has now advised the athlete, who is fighting doping claims, not to reach out to those who do not understand his pain.
The presenter said that many people have misunderstood the athlete even when he sought for assistance from them. The athlete has been troubled since he was accused of doping.
“I personally think Asbel Kiprop needs help, he is trying to reach out. Many people don't want to talk about what they are going through,” said Jeff.
He also reminded the athlete to be careful with the friends he has been hanging out with, adding that some of them can be traitors.
“Be careful with the friends you hang out with, find someone you can talk to no matter how bad the situation,” he added.
The woman in the video, Rotich, 24, is married to Andrew Chepsiya.
She is said to have attempted to commit suicide after the video surfaced online.
Kiprop also said that the woman, who unsuccessfully vied for a Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Sergoit ward, Uasin Gishu county, has destroyed his life.
He further claimed that he knocked down someone to death when he was going to pick her for their clandestine activities.
