Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho paid a courtesy visit to his Kisumu counterpart Professor Anyang' Nyong'o.
Joho visited Nyong'o in his office on Saturday, where they had a fruitful discussion with the two leaders agreeing to partner in areas for development.
The two governors agreed that Mombasa County will partner with Kisumu County in improving tourism for better service delivery.
"Today morning, I paid a courtesy call to my Kisumu counterpart H.E Professor Anyang' Nyong'o in his office. We discussed several areas of partnership between our two Counties in improving tourism and ensuring better service delivery to residents," Joho posted.
Joho, accompanied with other leaders across the country, also visited Busia County on Friday, where he visited families that were affected in during tribal clashes.
He was later hosted at Butula Girls High school for a funds drive by Busia County Women Representative Florence Mutua.
"Together with leaders drawn from across the Country, I was honoured to visit St. Clare Butula Girls Secondary School in Busia County where we helped to raise funds to construct more classrooms," he said on Friday.
Joho also used the opportunity to support his party leader Raila Odinga's recent partnership with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
