Speaking exclusively to NTV on Wednesday at River Soi, the three girls expressed their anger at the rumours which they said is giving their 'mothers' distress.

They branded the rumours as completely false and called on those peddling them to stop.

"We have seen rumours circulating on the internet that the DNA results are out. People are saying one of us is not our sister. Those rumours are false. The results are not out and we are calling on those spreading them to stop, " one of the twins said.

Sharon and Melon discovered each other on Facebook and went on to meet each other.

A DNA test was conducted on them to determine their paternity.

The twins have committed to staying together irrespective of the outcome of the DNA test whose results are yet to be made public.

Sleuths from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) launched an investigation to determine whether a crime was committed when the twins were born.

The outcome of the investigation is not yet out.
