Kenyans on social media have reacted after Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria hit out at Tourism CS Najib Balala for publicly telling off those calling for his resignation over the death of 11 rhinos.
In a Facebook post on Monday, Kuria criticised the CS for telling critics calling for his stepping aside to 'go to hell'.
"Thank you CS Najib Balala for gratuitously and magnanimously paying First Class SGR tickets for Kenyans who wish to go to hell. Yours is an act of exemplary leadership in executive fiat and hubris," said Kuria.
This comes after the 11 rhinos died following their translocation from Nakuru and Nairobi National Parks to Tsavo East National Park.
However, Balala on Monday said he will not be intimidated by those calling for his resignation, adding that he is only answerable to President Uhuru Kenyatta, as he is the one who appointed him.
"Nobody has appointed me. It is only Uhuru Kenyatta who has appointed me. So they can go to hell, I can tell them that. Uhuru Kenyatta is the only one who has appointed me and he knows I have the capacity to run the Wildlife docket," said Balala.
