Bonchari MP John Oyioka has dismissed ex-MP John Opore’s plan of making a political come back in 2022.
Speaking on Saturday at Suneka market where he addressed traders, Oyioka termed Opore as an idler who is busy criticizing his leaders instead of accepting the humiliating defeat in 2017.
“I have been reading on social media that Opore will make a comeback in 2022. Let me put it clear that I will not be afraid or be scared of his political comeback because I beat him hands down in 2017 and I will beat him in 2022,” said Oyioka.
He wondered why Opore could continue taking credit of the tarmac road which has been done in the constituency.
“I don’t see the reason why Opore will continue taking credit of road projects being done in the constituency yet he is a political failure,” he added.
The vocal MP said the road projects were initiated during the MP Charles Onyancha’s time but, were only implemented when Opore was in office.
Oyioka challenged Opore to be satisfied with the 15 years he served as MP in the constituency without any tangible and visible development.
