Amani National Congress (ANC) Party leader Wycliffe Musalia Mudavadi has asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to ensure electoral reforms are done before 2022.
Mudavadi said electoral injustices in Kenya are the main trigger of violence which is witnessed after every election.
Addressing media in Nakuru on Thursday during a meeting with delegates of the party, said as the war on graft takes momentum, Kenyans should fix the electoral wing as well.
“We cannot have violence after every five years. We need to work on the electoral injustices and ensure a peaceful nation” he said.
The ANC leader also told President Uhuru to go for the big boys and reclaim Mau forest totally.
“We are telling the President that even though we are not part of the government but we support the fight on corruption and even the ongoing Mau forest reclamation,” said Mudavadi.
The ANC leader, who has declared interest in the 2022 presidential race accompanied by MPs Tindi Mwale (Butere),Vihiga Woman Rep Beatrice Adagala and ANC chairman Kelvin Lunani.
Other leaders were Naivasha Businessman James Karimi, Former Kiambu URP chair Beatrice Kamamia and former Mungiki leader Maina Njenga.
