DP William Ruto has revealed that he consult his boss, President Uhuru Kenyatta, on a daily basis while discharging his duties as the Deputy President.

Speaking during an interview held on Citizen TV on Tuesday, Ruto said he never works on his own because he works under his boss as stated in the constitution. 

"I always consult my boss on matters development. Kenyans need to know that I don't make my own decisions when it comes to serving Kenyans," stated Ruto. 

He assured that he has a good working relationship with President Uhuru arguing that no one will succeed in breaking the bond. 

Ruto distanced himself from claims that he is secretly fighting Uhuru's efforts in the fight against corruption. 

"Propaganda being spread by the opposition team that I am against the efforts of my boss in graft war should be ignored because the office I hold won't allow me back corruption. 

I want to assure the people of Kenya that I am committed to working with the President to develop this country no matter what," he added.  

He insisted despite his name being mentioned in corruption scandals his 2022 presidential bid won't be hindered.
