President Uhuru Kenyatta has been asked to sack DP William Ruto if he is serious to leave a legacy behind once he completes his second and last term in 2022.
According to Kisii County women representative Janet Ong'era, DP Ruto's premature early campaigns across the country will hinder the legacy the Head of State intends to leave behind once he retires in 2022.
"DP Ruto is busy traversing the country to campaign ahead of the 2022 general elections instead of helping President Uhuru Kenyatta to implement the Big 4 Agenda. I am advising Mr. Kenyatta to sack DP Ruto because he is after sabotaging his legacy by premature 2022 campaigns," she said.
Ong'era said DP Ruto is having a different agenda from that of the President.
"We want to ensure the building bridges initiative started by President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga yields fruits to boost the lives of poor Kenyans. Ruto should be at the forefront preaching peace in his political rallies and not dragging the ODM party leader into the Jubilee wrangles," she added.
She was speaking in Kisii town on Tuesday evening.
