Most Kenyans will agree that the peace and stability experienced now is largely due to the handshake.

However, most in DP Ruto's camp have not been overly convinced that the handshake is good raising doubts whether the peace is sustainable beyond 2022.

Renowned political analyst Harman Manyora, through his weekly YouTube updates,  has said President Uhuru Kenyatta, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto need to talk for the peace that the country is enjoying now to go beyond 2022.

He, however, said it's not easy for politicians,  especially due to their personal ego,  to agree to that and have a talk.

He called on seasoned leaders like COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli to intervene.

"Because politicians are politicians,  sometimes they need to be pushed...I want to invite seasoned Kenyans leaders outside the political establishment to bring these three gentlemen(Uhuru, Raila and Ruto) together so that the peace we are enjoying today is sustainable," he said.

"I have in mind powerful leaders like Francis Atwoli... This is a challenge for Francis Atwoli, look for other Kenyans outside the political establishment and seat these guys together (Uhuru,  Raila and Ruto),  talk to serious church leaders, talk to serious leaders in the business and Industry, bringing together around 10 seasoned leaders to talk to Uhuru, Raila and Ruto," suggested Manyora.

The analyst added that if the three talk, 2022 will be a 'transitional ' period as they will go into the elections as one,  thereafter, Multiparty elections with different sides can come back in 2027 or 2032.
