The flamboyant politician claimed that the said people are using corruption as a tool to ensure President Kenyatta doesn’t leave office when his term expires in 2022 with a good legacy.

“There’re people who do not want @UKenyatta to have a legacy, and their strategy is corruption. But the citizens are determined to help the Prezo to stop or at least reduce the vice. Soldier on Mr President,” he posted.

The tweet, however, elicited mixed reactions among Kenyans, with a section of netizens telling off the Kiambu politician.

Others who reacted to the tweet asked the former county boss to name the government officials who are said to be propagating corruption.

This comes months after Kabogo declared that looting of public resources will stop if he is appointed the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) chairman.

"The money involved in graft is moved through banks. Why can’t we trace the money and let people explain it? Make me EACC boss….That business of looting will stop before I even get there," said Kabogo.

Here are some of the reactions to Kabogo's tweet.
