Embattled Nairobi County Woman Rep Esther Passaris has revealed what she discussed in Vancouver with Kenyans living in the diaspora.
According to the Woman Rep, she discussed with them about life in Vancouver.
Also on the agenda was Huduma Namba registration and the challenges that they encounter while seeking to acquire the new e-passport.
She revealed that many Kenyans living in Vancouver are working in healthcare and academia.
Ijara Member of Parliament Sophia Noor joined her in the discussion.
"With Hon. @noor_sophia during a get together for Kenyans living in Vancouver. We talked about their life in the diaspora, huduma namba registration and the hurdles of acquiring the new e-passport. Many work healthcare and academia to support their families back home, " Passaris tweet read.
The Nairobi Woman Rep left the country for Canada to attend a women empowerment forum after the Madaraka Day celebrations in which she had a spat with Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko.
Passaris has been trending on social media for days on end after the very public spat.
She is expected in the country in a few days time.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau addressed a women empowerment forum that Passaris attended.
