President Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday evening left the country for Mauritius.
The President, who is completing his second and final term in office, will be out of the country for four days.
According to State House, the tour is meant to boost the economic, social and cultural ties between the two nations.
Uhuru was welcomed by The Prime Minister of the Republic of MauritiusPravind Jugnauth upon landing at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, Port Louis.
He held talks with Acting President of the Republic of Mauritius Paramasivum Pillay Vyapoory.

The tour comes at a time when Uhuru has declared war against corrupt government officials before he leaves office. The President has assured Kenyans that he will not relent in the war against the vice as long as he remains in power.
