A Member of Parliament (MP) elected on the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party ticket danced to Tanzanian musician Harmonize's Happy Birthday song during his birthday recently.
In a short video clip shared online by Rushdie Oudia, Nyakach MP Joshua Aduma Owuor is seen dancing to Harmonize’s famous tune to mark his birthday.
From the look of things, the second time MP is not a very good dancer.
The short video was taken in what seems to be his home as he is seen moving his legs back and forth, as it is always the case when someone is jogging.
Harmonize’s song can be heard from the background accompanied by a female voice.
Owuor was elected Nyakach MP in 2013, before being re-elected in 2017 on the ODM Party ticket.
The lawyer turned MP was recently in the news after being linked to the Sh68 million corruption allegations facing former Nairobi Governor Dr Evans Odhiambo Kidero.
The legislator is among 17 suspects facing prosecution, for alleged irregular payments made during their tenure at the then Nairobi County Council.
Among the charges expected to be preferred against him and his co-accused are abuse of office, money laundering, conspiracy to commit economic fraud, and unlawful acquisition of public property.
The MP has, however, denied allegations against him.
Here is the video.
