Elgeyo Marakwet County senator Onesimus Kipchumba Murkomen came out on Tuesday to reveal his New Year’s resolutions.
Taking to his twitter account, Murkomen revealed that he wants to read 12 books and publish 3 journal articles this year.
“New Year Resolution: Apart from my doctoral studies, I hope I can read 12 books and publish 3 Journal Articles. So help me God!” posted the Majority Leader of the Senate.
However, Miguna Miguna came out to correct Murkomen’s resolution stating that he should set his goals higher than that.
The deported barrister urged Murkomen to at least read 300 academic books and 500 journal articles.
He further challenged him to publish at least 3 journal articles yearly for three years.
“A doctoral student should read and understand more than 300 academic books and 500 journal articles in your area of study, publish 3 peer-reviewed journal articles each year for 3 years, conduct research and complete a dissertation. Set your goals higher than that and good luck,” advised the controversial lawyer, Miguna Miguna.
