These memory cards will be used but will tend to show a fake space. To know whether your memory if fake, check these out these three things;

1. Type of the memory card

Once you wish to purchase a card, look at the name written and the capacity. For instance, SDSC/SD are up to 4GB, SDHC from 4GB-32GB while SDXC from 64GB to 2TB. In case you come across an 8GB or 16GB SD or 64GB SDHC, the memory card is fake. A fake memory card does not have a serial number at the lower back of the card.

2. Packaging of the memory card

Fake memory cards have poor packages and they are not designed as they should as compared to the original memory cards. Based on the type of the card, if it reads between 4GB and 32GB and the packaging show SDXC, SDSC or SD, the card is definitely fake. Ensure that the back of the packaging has propers specifications, card speed, origin, warranty or labels.

3. If its price is too good to be true

In case you come across cheaper memory cards than some you could have seen before and they are of great capacity, they are definitely not the originals. These cards have poorly printed texts as well as poor misalignment on the package.
