A politician allied to Jubilee Party in Kisii county has taken ODM party leader Raila Odinga head-on after the party's candidates lost in Ugenya and Embakasi South by-elections.
Isaac Motari claimed that Raila's rogue leadership and dictatorship in the party is to blame for the terrible loss.
"The loser ODM candidates should blame Raila for their loss because they were only imposed on the people. Raila's ODM party doesn't' value the popularity of the people but, values loyalty," he said.
According to Motari, a politician can be loyal to the party but, in return, such politicians don't enjoy massive support from the electorate.
"Loyalty doesn't win anyone votes but, popularity does. Raila must stop forcing leaders down the electorates' throats. It is high time ODM party should respect the will of the people," he added.
He lauded the electorates in Ugenya and Embakasi South constituencies for voting for their leaders of choice.
The vocal politician challenged ODM politicians dragging Deputy President William Ruto into ODM's terrible loss to carry their own cross.
"DP Ruto didn't campaign against ODM either in Ugenya or Embakasi South. His name should not be mentioned in ODM's poor performance," he stated.
