Nicholas Muchemi, the old man who constructed a road single-handedly in Muranga has received more goodies for his selfless gesture.
The goodies came hardly a two weeks after he was paid a visit by well-wishers who brought him gifts.
The revelation was made by Dennis Itumbi in a Thursday evening Facebook post.
Mr Muchemi met with the executives of ABC Bank who pledged to get him a grade cow.
The bank also pledged to have him join a SACCO so that part of the profit he makes can go towards securing his future.
Rhino Mabati a company that manufactures corrugated iron sheets will give him iron sheets so that he can roof his cow shed.
Muchemi has long lived without electricity but that will be history as plans have been made to connect him to the National grid.
A mattress and a blanket have been procured for him so that he can have a good night's sleep.
Photos of Muchemi constructing the road went viral on social media for days on end.
"1. ABC The Bank has today met Muchemi in the company of Shikoh Esther and offered to buy him a Grade cow, cow feed to last six months.
2. ABC Bank is also buying home feeds for the cows for 6 months.
3. ABC will also partner with a Local Sacco to enlist him in the Sacco so that he can save his milk earnings and therefore create a sustainable path for him.
4. TopMark Feeds based in Muranga last week delivered several bags of feed for free.
5. Rhino Mabati Company gave Muchemi several roof sheets for his newly-constructed Cow Shed Rhino Mabati Factory LTD - Asante sana Andrew6. For making it easier to connect water through his new road - Muchemi got water connected at his home last week courtesy PS Irungu.
7. A quotation for electricity was done and we are in the process of getting cash to wire his home ready to light it up.
8. The cow you contributed to buy was bought through the coordination of Esther and Chif Philip. It was also delivered to him. Chif Philip asante sana.
9. A Matress and Blanket will be bought and delivered as the second cow is taken home.
