Business was disrupted on Thursday morning at Gesonso Petrol station along Kisii-Migori road after a bodaboda rider exchanged blows with a lorry driver over fuel.

Witnesses said the rider, Henry Nyang'au was queuing at the station to fuel his motorbike when the lorry driver, Duncan Moseti came 10 minutes later demanding that he be the first to be served.

"Nyang'au queued to fuel his motorbike when Moseti came with his lorry and demanded to be served first because he was buying fuel more than the rider. The rider got angered roughed the driver prompting to a fight," said a witness Paul Simbe. 

The Petrol station manager, Wesley Magara said he stopped the two clients from fighting.

Mr Magara said they will not discriminate against anyone coming to buy fuel at the station.

He said they have fuel which will only last until Friday at 12 pm and if the supplier will continue holding the commodity, the station will be closed down.
