Controversial Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria threw tantrum at journalist attached to a local media house during his presser at Parliament buildings on Thursday.
The agitated MP had called the presser to refute earlier claims that he had resigned as Gatundu South MP.
As if the drama already wasn’t enough, a local journalist from the same media house who tried asking the legislator a question was rudely interrupted by Kuria. The MP asked him to leave the press briefing.
Kuria accused the journalist of misquoting him questioning his credibility and integrity as a member of the fourth state.
" I have called a press conference through normal channels of parliament and this journalists go to report their own things" he said.
He further stated that journalists from that media house were not welcome in his presser since they had been maliciously publishing false information and constantly misquoting him.
In a video seen by Hivisasa.com, the MP referred to the practice as "prostitute journalism" that should be condemned.
"That's how people make money from damages, prostitute journalism," said the provoked lawmaker.
This is not the first time Kuria is attacking journalists. In August 2018, the legislator accused the media of blaming him for every wrong thing that was happening in the country.
