A teacher was on Thursday arraigned at Keroka law court and charged for impregnating a secondary school student.
The court heard that the suspect, Erick Nyakundi Mose committed the offence on 12th January, 2014 in Nyagesicho village in Masaba North, Nyamira County.
Appearing before magistrate P.M Kimutai, Mose who is also a teacher by profession denied the charges leveled against him.
He pleaded with the court to release him on bond on grounds that he is innocent only that he is being fixed up in the sex scandal.
The suspect, who was released on Sh100, 000 bond, was warned against interfering with witnesses in the case or threatening witnesses.
Kimutai also said the suspect should not boycott court proceedings because his bond will be dismissed and a warrant of arrest issued.
The case will be mentioned on 27th July, 2018 and hearing will be on 20th August, 2018.
