While poking holes on President Kenyatta's working agreement with Odinga, Maalim revealed that Uhuru was not fighting for the latter.

In a tweet, the veteran Garissa politician laughed at the current excitement by the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), adding that the President will never transfer power to Raila.

Interestingly, he also observed that Uhuru was not fighting his deputy William Ruto but was just fighting for his legacy.

"Uhuru is not Fighting for Raila or against Ruto. Uhuru is fighting for himself. Every time I watch juvenile excitement on the part of ODM leaders that the Presidency would be passed on to Raila you can't help but laugh at their naivety. When will we learn from history?. Watch!!!" he posted

Maalim's sentiments come at a time when Ruto is on record claiming that Odinga and his brigade were out to frustrate his 2022 presidential bid.
