Three men have been nabbed with bhang in Wote, Makueni County.
The suspects were on Tuesday arrested in possession of 551 rolls of bhang and more than 500 hundred stones of the drug in Slaughter sub location following a tip off from the residents.
"These men have been selling this drug in this area freely and we have made many reports to the police but their 40th day has arrived today," a resident told this writer.
He confided to this writer for fear of victimization.
Residents said most of the youths in the area had been wasted by the drugs.
"Parents have struggled so much to educate their children but the children end up lured by these criminals into smoking bhang among other hard substances," the source said.
The trio has been locked up at Makueni Police Station awaiting being arraigned in court.
The incident was confirmed by Makueni County police commander Joseph Napeiyan.
"We will follow the matter to the latter and bring all culprits on book," Napeiyan said.
