Divock Origi was left out of Belgium squad that just qualified for the world cup 2018 currently underway in Russia.
Kenyan-born Belgium International Divock Origi is among twenty-six players to report to Liverpool Melwood training ground on 2nd July 2018.
Origi spent last season at Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga and returned to join his parent club at Merseyside before the 208/19 season. A number of the other squad members is still with their respective nations in Russia for the World Cup.
Origi is yet to have his future settled at Liverpool especially now that Mo Salah has signed a new long-term contract. Jurgen Klopp is expected to keep his forward line that helped them reach the UEFA Champions League finals with Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino likely to partner Salah once more. That means Kenyan-Origi will find playtime at Anfield hard to come by.
The two new faces as Fabinho and Naby Keita met their team-mates. The former Monaco and RB Leipzig midfielders have the chance to impress Klopp and stake a claim for a spot in the engine room of the side. Keita, Fabinho, and their new teammates were split into groups before they were physically examined.
Origi will now play alongside Mane and Egyptian forward Mohammed Salah at Anfield.
