More leaders have disowned Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula after he announced his exit from NASA.
South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro while speaking during a television interview on Monday he claimed that Wetangula’s exit threats are funny jokes which Kenyans should ignore.
He called on Wetangula to consider supporting the government of the day and stop unnecessary announcement which may kill him politically.
“Let Wetangula support the Jubilee government since this is not politics time and stop making jokes that he will exit NASA,” he said.
Samuel Odhiambo, the Migori Ford Kenya party chairman claimed that Wetangula is losing focus in the country’s politics.
“It is worrying that Wetangula has lost on the way. He didn’t consult the party before he announced the party’s exit from NASA. He will go nowhere since as a party we don’t recognize his political step,” said Odhiambo.
According to Odhiambo, Wetangula should be ignored since he doesn’t enjoy a massive support even from his Western region home turf.
Odhiambo assured ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi, Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and ODM party leader Raila Odinga that Ford Kenya is part of NASA.
“NASA is intact and Ford Kenya is going nowhere. Wetangula spoke on his own that he exited NASA and not on behalf of the party. There was no meeting held among the Ford Kenya elected leaders to arrive at Wetangula’s sentiments of exiting NASA,” he added.
