An elected Member of Parliament in Nyamira County has fired shots at his rivals, saying he should be allowed to serve the electorates before his term ends.
West Mugirango MP Vincent Kemosi, while speaking at Nyakemincha secondary school on Thursday, said he needs humble time to deliver.
"This is not time for politics my rivals to loiter around calling me names. I want to be given humble time to deliver my promises to the people of West Mugirango in peace," he said.
The Ford Kenya elected MP said he will not waste his time listening to insults from rivals, adding that he is more focused on development.
"I will not have time to engage rivals who are idling criticizing my leadership. My humble request to rivals is that they should wait for 2022 to try their luck," he added.
Mr Kemosi challenged constituents to ignore his rivals who are only interested in spreading propaganda.
"My rivals are in the cold after they lost. There is no need for locals to continue listening to them since they lack agendas to discuss," noted Kemosi.
