Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga is not interested in making the ruling Jubilee party collapse and kick out DP William Ruto, a former legislator has claimed.

Ex-Bonchari MP Protus Kebati said Raila's involvement in government is because of the historic handshake.

"The ODM party leader has no plans to kick out DP Ruto from Jubilee. He is focused in helping President Uhuru Kenyatta to fight graft in the country and this is the reason DP Ruto and his allies are angry," he stated.

He wondered why a section of politicians allied to DP Ruto should claim that one community is being targeted in the graft war yet individuals are stealing on their own.

The ex-lawmaker reiterated that leaders should be at the front line in fighting graft.

"No community is being targeted in the graft war as it is being claimed by some selfish individuals allied to DP Ruto. I'm urging Mr Ruto to advise his allies and keep off claiming that one community is targeted in the corruption war," he said.

He challenged DCI, DPP and EACC not to spare any individuals caught engaging in corruption, adding that the vice was detrimental to Kenya's economic growth.
