Suspended Homeboyz Radio presenter popularly known as Didge, has finally issued a public apology over a distasteful remark he made on air regarding the death of Ivy Wangechi.
Wangechi was a sixth-year medical student at Moi University's School of Medicine. She was hacked by her alleged lover, Naftali Njami Kinuthia outside Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret on Tuesday.
The radio host in his remark said that Ms Wangechi deserved to die because she was not loyal.
Part of the remark suggested that the slain student was not grateful to his boyfriend, something that did not go down well with Homeboyz Radio fans.
The fans took to Twitter where they expressed their fury with the presenter's remark.
This prompted the station's management to suspend the presenter. Didge has since tendered an apology which he posted on his Instagram page.
