The group who largely consist of activists based in Nairobi has indicated clearly their intention to force the leaders to work or quit office.

"I hereby join you to thank all the members who attended, It was a privilege to hear great ideals from you guys, we must transform Nyamira," said Wycliffe Misati group's Deputy Organising Secretary.

But some of the residents of Nyamira have a different opinion over the formation of the David Ogwagwa chaired group.

"I don't have a problem with you guys meeting but I only feel that you are part of the problems we're facing as constituency . Some of you endorsed, campaigned and voted for the current regime but here you're today trying to solve a problem you created," said top blogger Kefah Osiri

Kitutu Masaba IEBC official Jones Nyabio wondered why the group needs to be taken serious as such.

"People can meet anywhere in the world, at any time of the day and discuss anything they wish as they pass time over a cup of tea/coffee, a bottle of beer or even a pot of shisha. But such chitchats will have a zero impact in the management of a constituency or even a ward, unless they involve leaders. So, when people meet over coffee, it's no big deal"

The Progressive Alternative Voice whose membership comprises of youth leaders, social media influencers and journalists joins a series of other existing lobby groups to push for the agenda of governance in Nyamira.
