South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro said borrowing is necessary for any government, adding that no government can survive without taking loans.

Osoro, who is a member of the famous 'Tanga Tanga' movement, said the government should go for loans to finance developmentdepartment projects.

He said there is no crime for President Uhuru Kenyatta to reach out to other Heads of States to plead for loans.

"Any government should borrow for development to be achieved. Therefore, it is not wrong for Mr Kenyatta to borrow money from foreign countries to help fund development projects cross the country," he said.

Osoro maintained that DP Ruto has nothing to do with the alleged failure of Mr Kenyatta and Raila Odinga to get loan from the Chinese government to finance SGR.

"If at all the Chinese government didn't give loan to Mr Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga to help in the construction of SGR from Naivasha to Kisumu, DP Ruto should not take the blame," said the MP.

He was speaking on Thursday during the official opening of a modern laboratory at Ramoya Girls secondary school in Tabaka ward.
