The team comprising of Dennis Itumbi's, Monyori Buku, James Kinyua and Erick Ng'eno, was assembled by Nairobi senator Johnson Sakaja in 2010 and worked with Uhuru for three good years before he won Presidency.

But after the victory, observes Awaahh.com, Uhuru failed to honour them by appointing one of them to lead the Communication team.

In their plan, Mr. Buku, was to be de facto State House spokesman, while Itumbi was to deputise him.

But you their suprise, Uhuru recruited Manoah Esipisu, now Kenyan ambassador to UK, from ADB, a move that did not go well with the ambitious team.

For six years, PSCU was rocked in vicious internal wrangles that even invited the President to intervene in 2016 June where he told the team that 'I recruited Esipisu for s reason, you either work with him or chicken out'.

But even with the riot act having read by the president, Manoah still struggled to contain the team, leading to acrimonious fallout after 2018 elections.

And a furious Uhuru, through Chief of Staff Nzioka Waita, threw the team out of State House, when they reportedly started instigating wars against new PSCU head, Kanze Dena.

For three months now, the once formidable campaign team for the president, remains puppets at the DP William Ruto's Harambee Annex where they are fighting for survival.
