Isaac Motari, the Kisii County Jubilee youth secretary general argued that DP Ruto's many trips should not cause the sleepless nights to opposition leaders.

"DP Ruto is a national leader who should visit any region even 100 times to help people. Those calling him names should consider doing something positive which will help improve their lives," he said.

Mr Motari welcomed DP Ruto's planned today, Saturday trip to Borabu in Nyamira County where he is expected to preside over a fund drive.

"DP Ruto is welcome anytime to Nyamira and Kisii counties. Let opposition continue with propaganda while DP Ruto is busy winning Kenyans' hearts ahead of the 2022 polls," he noted.

He challenged local leaders allied to Jubilee party to turn up in large numbers to welcome DP Ruto adding that his bid to become president in 2022 is inevitable.

Motari assured that opposition coalition is slowly losing support from Gusii region given that the opposition leader Raila Odinga himself 'decamped' to Jubilee after the historic handshake.
