The driver, Dauglas Wabomba Wakacha was recently shot dead in Kakamega during an attempt on MP Kibunguchi's life.

The injured Member of the Trans Nzoia County Assembly has only been identified as Hon Mlipuko and the injured bodyguards belong to Kimilili MP Dr Eseli Simiyu and Kibunguchi.
