He said he sold his development ideologies to the people alone.

"Raila never helped meduring the 2017 general elections. He is an old man who should respect me as an MP," said Osoro.

The vocal legislator insisted that he will not succumb to any pressure because the electorates voted for him to serve their interests but not interests of few egocentric individuals.

"My constituents voted for me not because of Raila but, because I campaigned wisely and won the votes transparently. I am therefore, committed to serve the electorates so that I don't give excuses in 2022," he added.

Osoro said he doesn't regret being close to DP Ruto, terming him a focused leader.

"People should stop being unhappy because of my association with DP Ruto. Ruto is a good man with good development ideologies. I chose to be close to him so that I can get something to take to my people," he noted.

He was speaking on Saturday at Gusii stadium.
