The man identified as Fred Nyakach fell unconscious into a grave following a thorough beating from an unknown people.

The thugs later buried him in a pit that was meant to construct a toilet, just a few meters away from his home.

Reports indicate that the victim was part of the thugs and it’s likely that they failed to agree on something before they opted to eliminate him.

“He is a thug as well. Last year, a stolen motorbike was in his house. His parents disowned him too,” said Mark Mbigo who was once his close friend before he parted ways with him.

Two women walking around their garden early in the morning noticed an unusual look on the pit, and later found the man buried with one of his hand struggling to wave in the air.

“At the same time, there were five men going to their brick firm. We called out for their help. It was God’s plan. It wasn’t his day yet. He rose on his own just with some little help,” said Mary, one of the women.

Maseno police boss Mr Langat confirmed the incident, and assured the residents that his team was looking for the people connected with the criminal act.
