Kisii County Anglican church Bishop John Omangi has claimed that the union between President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga came as a result of prayers.
Omangi on Friday said in Kisii town that leaders should not take prayers for granted.
"The church prayed hard for unity in this country following the 2017 divisive politics. President Uhuru and opposition chief finally agreed to shake hands because of the prayers. People should know prayers work and believe in prayers everything is possible," he noted.
According to Omangi, the political love between Raila and Uhuru won't be broken after they agreed to work together.
"No politician will succeed to penetrate through Raila-Uhuru for them to be enemies again. The country is at peace and Kenyans should continue praying for peace, unity and harmony to continue prevailing in this country," he added.
He warned politicians dwelling so much on propaganda saying leaders should be good examples to common citizens.
"Our leaders should shun retrogressive politics and spreading propaganda around about other leaders more particularly those who won the August 8, 2017, general elections," said Omangi.
