According to Bosire, the appointment of Raila as a special envoy to the African Union doesn't mean he will drop his position as the party leader.

Speaking to Egesa FM on Monday, the former vocal legislator  said Raila’s post would not interfere in any way with his present position in local politics therefore Jubilee should mind their own business.

“We know the political plans as they are paving way for the Deputy President William Ruto for 2022 but I would like them to know that Raila is here to stay actively in local politics as well," said Bosire

His sentiments comes barely a day after a section of Jubilee leaders led by Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro on Saturday told Raila to leave local politics and let the stage for the ‘young’ and concentrate to his prime job at the Union.

Raila’s appointment has brought mixed reactions as it came when he was actively pushing for referendum a move some of the DP William Ruto allies were not happy with.
