Gor Mahia are looking to replace departed Godfrey Walusimbi, who moved to South Africa side Kaizer Chiefs, by fighting for the signature of 24-year-0ld Jamal Mwambeleko.
Jamal is seeking for more playing time, which has been compounded by his desire to move to Singida United, a move that fell through in early July.
Formerly at Mbao FC, Mwambelelo is actively said to be pursuing a move away from the Wekundu wa Msimbazi, even if on a temporary basis.
He has played six times for Taifa Stars and has also been linked with Ethiopian Champions Jimma Aba Jifar.
However, Gor is also chasing the signature of Ugandan Shafiz Batambuze.
