The two leaders faced-off on the televised interview over the maize issue facing Rift Valley farmers.

Kuttuny fashioned himself as the champion of the plight of farmers and accused Murkomen of being a rabble-rouser for ‘his master’.

He was apparently referring to Deputy President William Ruto whose farm was reportedly paid up to Sh20 million by the National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) and is under investigations by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.

The MP raised a heated debate on the issue and insinuated the farm might have been paid after interference from the DP.

Murkomen, however, rubbished the claims and reminded Kuttuny that he also received a cool Sh3 million and just like he thinks the DP is a ‘cartel’ another small farmer somewhere in the Rift Valley thinks he is also a cartel because he received the three million.

The interview appeared Kuttuny was on the attack side and Murkomen was on the defensive.

Kenyans got divided on who to take the trophy on account of goals scored!

But our analysis showed by half time, they were draw but Kuttuny won on ball possession 70:30!

Second half things became thick and Murkomen had to play dirty.

"William Ruto picked you from the bush and made you who you are, you have no right to insult him,” Murkomen said.

Kuttuny was, however, not asleep and pulled a counter immediately.

“My wife supported you and even Mpesa messages are still there and I even bought you your first car,” he said.

Those are hard tackles, but Prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! The referee says play on!

Murkomen, being under pressure to score, pulls another lethal attack.

He says Kuttuny is pretending to be a farmers’ activist while he is a pharmas’ (read drugs) champion.

What, the referee consults VAR!

Waves, ball at centre Murkomen 1: Kuttuny 0

On ball possession and good play, Kuttuny wins with 75% ball possession.

Murkomen was playing rough. Was only interested in injuring players!

So from my desk, Murkomen lost possession but won a goal!

Haha, from your side who won the debate?
