Jumwa has lately aligned herself with Deputy President William Ruto, abandoning opposition leader Raila Odinga and his Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).

But speaking during a fundraiser at Bomu Stadium in Changamwe, Mombasa on Tuesday, Mboko bashed her former close buddy, a member of ODM for downplaying the party's ideologies.

She took issue with the outspoken lawmaker's 'kiuno' (waist) slogan which she has been using in her appearances alongside Ruto, bashing her for losing political focus.

“We are after change and initiation of development projects, not monkey business which is against party agenda," she is quoted by the Standard.

Jumwa has since been proposed for expulsion from the party after being repeatedly seen endorsing Ruto's 2022 presidential race, a contest that could also include Raila.

The new fight comes amid another ongoing scuffle between Suba North lawmaker Millie Odhiambo and Homa Bay Women Representative Gladys Wanga, both of whom are also ODM members.
