The president asked the Commission for Revenue Allocation (CRA), Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Council of Governors (CoG) and the Ministry of National Treasury under CS Henry Rotich to form a multi-agency team that will spearhead delivery of the new system.

"Today I have asked the CRA, the KRA, Council of Governors and the National Treasury to form a Multi-Agency Team whose principal aim shall be to deliver on a single revenue collection system, that is integrated with National Government Systems and to be used across all 47 Counties," Kenyatta said at KICC on Thursday

At the event, President Kenyatta also expressed the greater heights and strides Kenya is making in ensuring it's in line with the global modernization schemes and advancement in technology.

"Relevant agencies are directed to take advantage and fully embrace 21st-century technologies to ensure that our urban areas are well planned, orderly, and exhibit the standards of living that all Kenyans desire and deserve," Kenyatta said

He lauded the task force that spearheaded the joint national and resources mapping saying they have shown exemplary quality in their mandate delivery.

He said that the integrated system should be rolled out across all the 47 counties for efficient service delivery.
