As the National Drama and Film Festivals draw closer to the end, different schools and students have been showcasing masterclass competitions.
In the primary school category, Acacia Crest Academy from Kitengela took to the stage on Saturday with a bang as they presented their choral verse titled, Masomo.
The verse is centred on the theme that parents should not force their children to engage in certain activities, careers and professions which they deem not fit for them.
The pupils from the school situated in Kitengela International bridge complex left the audience mesmerized.
St.Theresa Yala Academy from Nyanza region broke into Owino Mbambazi's song and the Catholic lyrics on stage with the modern dance where they bemused the audience with their style of play.
Further, Kerugoya Good Shepherd Academy presented a choral verse on the effects of the internet and mobile phones.
They emphasized that education should be prioritised by both parents and the government.
The pupils through the verse urged the young people to redirect their energies towards academics and not on social media.
This year's National Drama and Film festival had more moral lessons with the aim of bettering society.
The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) are this year's title sponsors of the national event.
