Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga has joined Kibera locals to condemn the burning of Toi market.
Raila, who was the first leader to arrive at the scene, linked the incident to a section of people planning to grab the land.
According to the former prime minister, land grabbers will never succeed.
He assured the locals that the huge fire which razed their market should not worry them as the market will be rebuilt promptly.
"We won't accept those destroying other Kenyans properties. That is not the Kenya we want. We have said the worst enemy is corruption," Raila said addressing victims in Kibera
Raila further challenged those saying the war against graft is targeting individuals and a community.
According to the vocal leader, the war is genuine and not meant to pull down anyone but corrupt individuals. He claimed the corrupt people are known.
"Graft has negatively our economy. Even if you complain, that it is targeting this tribe or that, it won't help you in any way. A corrupt individual is corrupt and we shall fight until we end it in this country." He said
Dp Ruto allies have recently said the fight against graft is targeting a community. This, they claimed is meant to taint Dp Ruto name as 2022 politics near
